Welcome to the Infrared Information Analysis Center (IRIA). IRIA was established in 1954 at the Willow Run Laboratories to facilitate the exchange of information within the Department of Defense (DoD) infrared community. The center is now a DoD Information Analysis Center (IAC) sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center and monitored by the Associate Director for Science and Technology, Army Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate. IRIA is chartered to collect, analyze, compile, and disseminate scientific and technical information relevant to military sensing and related fields. See About IRIA for additional information.

The IRIA Center administers the Military Sensing Symposia (MSS), a series of annual meetings on selected topics within military sensing fields. Attendance at these meetings is controlled.

IRIA is supported by the US Department of Defense and US industry. Access to certain pages on this web site requires pre-authorization. Contact us for additional details, or read the current issue of our quarterly newsletter, Spectral Reflections for additional information.
